Code Trip!

This week, I spent around 2 hours completing a beginner’s coding course on Codecademy. As someone with no coding experience, this seemed like a daunting task because I have lived through my sister's struggles and pains, enough to know how difficult programming can be.

However, my experience with this activity was somewhat pleasant. I opted for the course "Learn What to Learn," which introduces the concept of programming at an introductory level. The introduction to the actual coding portion was also really interactive, which made the process of going through the modules seamless and fun. Still, there were parts that were quite challenging and difficult, which made me realize why I am not built for this world. But I did get through it, and I'm now thankful I have some basic coding experience.

Overall, I had a good experience stepping into a world I never thought I would. While I don't see myself practicing this skill, I do appreciate learning about the ins and outs of programming enough to appreciate all the hardworking programmers out there.
